Where do archeology and mythology intersect?

We can animate Troy with Homer's epics, arheological data and written documents.
After Homer transcribed the Iliad and the Odyssey, it is always discussed whether the stories about Troy are true or not. If we collect and consider the archeological, mythological and historical data which appear with this long research history, most experts accept the followings: There was a poet called Homer. The Iliad and the Odyssey were transcribed by this poet. The city of Troy mentioned in the epics are the settlements in Hisarlık Tepe. Even if the events in the epics are not exactly true, they have a true essence. In other words, the Trojan War relies on a historical essence. Trojan geography corresponds largely with Homer's descriptions. The archeological data in Troy (Hisarlık Tepe) show some signs of wars with which the city had collapsed a couple of times. Wilusa, which is mentioned in the written documents of Hittites, and Ilios (Troy) are the same places. The events regarding a war in Hittite texts correspond with the destructions in Troy. Archeology and mythology intersects with these data in the context of Hisarlık, Asarlık, Troy, Ilios, Wilusa, Trauisa and the epics of Homer.
